Join the 4th year of the Chotika Almsgiving Ceremony, a grand merit-making event in Northern Thailand. Invite friends and family to offer alms to 29 monks led by Phra Ratchawachirasit, the Abbot of Wat Chedi Luang. Participants are also invited to wrap the Great Pagoda with sacred cloth to bring good fortune throughout the Year of the Horse.

This event recurs every Saturday throughout March 2026, featuring renowned monks and a community almshouse providing free food after the ceremony.

For those arriving empty-handed, dry food sets are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit Wat Chedi Luang, Nakornping Hospital, and the Baan Wieng Ping Children's Home. May this act of merit bring you happiness, prosperity, and good health.
