EGAT Partners with Ai-Glies to Advance Smart Energy Solutions Toward Net Zero

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ai-Glies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to promote the development of Smart Energy Solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency and supporting Thailand’s transition toward carbon neutrality. The agreement was signed in early April at EGAT headquarters in Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province.

The memorandum was signed by Ms. Nisara Thammapala, Director of Innovative Energy Business Management Division at EGAT, and Mr. Akinori Sasabe, Managing Director of Ai-Glies (Thailand) . Under the partnership, both organizations will collaborate in research, exchange technical knowledge, and jointly develop advanced energy management systems integrated with intelligent technologies.

The cooperation is expected to enhance energy consumption efficiency across various sectors while accelerating Thailand’s goal of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The initiative reflects EGAT’s broader commitment to innovation, clean energy transformation, and sustainable national development.
