Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya presided over the opening of the "Future SUPPORT" exhibition at the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles in the Grand Palace on August 18, 2026.
The exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother and honors Her Majesty's five decades of dedication to job creation, preservation of traditional wisdom, and promotion of Thai handicrafts worldwide.
The "Future SUPPORT" exhibition includes a replica of the foundation's first textile and traces its 50-year effort to improve livelihoods and foster community pride. It showcases how contemporary technology is used to preserve and advance traditional crafts. The exhibition also highlights the royal duties of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana and Her Royal Highness in continuing Her Majesty The Queen Mother's legacy of revitalizing Thai arts.
During the event, Her Royal Highness toured newly updated exhibitions, including “The Royal Wardrobe of Siam,” “The Royal Wardrobe of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit,” the SUPPORT mobile exhibition, and others, concluding with a visit to the museum shop.
The “Future SUPPORT” exhibition opens to the public on August 19, 2026. Visitors are welcome from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Gallery 5 of the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles in the Ratsadakorn-bhibhathana Building of the Grand Palace.
