Thailand is celebrating Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s fourth-cycle or 48th birthday anniversary in 2026. Her Majesty has always stood by the side of His Majesty the King, working tirelessly to improve the life of the Thai people.

Born on 3 June 1978 in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, Her Majesty the Queen graduated from Assumption University in Bangkok, with a bachelor's degree in communication arts. On 1 May 2019, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X) and General Suthida Vajiralongkorn Na Ayudhya were united in marriage in full accordance with royal traditions and the law. His Majesty the King, therefore, issued a royal command appointing General Suthida, the Queen Consort, as Queen Suthida.

Later, on 4 May 2019, during the coronation of His Majesty the King, a royal command was issued elevating Queen Suthida to Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana,

Her Majesty Queen Suthida has actively performed the royal duties in foreign affairs. The Queen won the admiration of those granted royal audiences, and she was equally impressed by them. Her Majesty welcomes foreign leaders on official visits as guests of the Thai government and engages in various activities to strengthen international relations.

Her Majesty Queen Suthida has a firm intention to carry forward the royal aspirations of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother in folk arts and crafts. In inheriting the commitment on cultural heritage preservation, Her Majesty accepted to supervise the agencies responsible for work related to the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques (SUPPORT Foundation), established by the Queen Mother in 1967.

Her Majesty Queen Suthida is recognized for her skills in several sports, such as ice hockey and sailing. During royal engagements involving sports, Her Majesty joins various sports activities in a gracious and unpretentious manner. Recognized as “Pilot Queen,” Her Majesty has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in aviation. The Queen serves as a co-pilot aboard royal aircraft, a role witnessed by the people on many occasions during royal visits undertaken alongside His Majesty the King, who serves as Pilot-in-Command.

Her Majesty also serves as a role model in wearing Thai silk, when traveling to perform her duties in the country and abroad, making Thai silk fabrics more widely known to the world at large.
