MFA Outreach Showcases Thai Culture in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Vice Minister Vijavat Isarabhakdi, held MFA Outreach 1/2026 to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and promote international relations through the visit to cultural sites in Ayutthaya. 

The program’s purpose was to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. It aimed to promote Her Majesty’s royal initiatives to preserve and develop the nation's cultural heritage, particularly textiles, craftsmanship, and Khon performance, which have served as significant tools to advance cultural diplomacy. 

Joining the program were over fifty diplomatic corps. They visited the Arts of The Kingdom Museum and All About Khon Learning Centre, experiencing the exquisiteness of artisanal crafts as well as the excellence of Khon performance. 

The program also included a visit to the Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand, where the diplomatic corps could experience intricate designs of 8 styles of Thai royal attire.

Held this year, the program aligned with the Foreign Ministry’s conceptualization to foster international ties, from globality to locality, and showcase Thai potential as well as identity, from locality to globality.
