The Ministry of Culture is advancing efforts to strengthen creative youth cultural networks nationwide, aiming to transform Thai cultural capital into a tangible driver of the creative economy under the concept “Thai Culture Reimagined.” The initiative focuses on empowering youth, educators, and local partners to modernise Thai culture through knowledge development, creativity, environmental awareness, and digital integration.
Recently, Mr. Prasop Riangngern(นายประสบ เรียงเงิน), Permanent Secretary for Culture, presided over the opening of the 2026 Capacity-Building Workshop for Creative Youth Cultural Networks, attended by representatives from relevant agencies, academics, and members of the Youth Culture Creative Connect (Y Triple C) network from 42 provinces.
The programme will be conducted in two sessions in February 2026 in Bangkok, bringing together 168 participants from 76 provinces. It aims to enhance skills in cultural analysis, project planning, and creative project development through lectures, hands-on training, case studies, and project pitching.
The initiative is expected to strengthen youth-led cultural networks, promote practical cultural innovation, and support the sustainable development of Thai culture at the community and national levels.
