Sawasdee Thailand Mascot Naming Contest
1. Eligibility
- Open to participants of all ages, genders, and nationalities
- Each participant may submit up to 3 name entries
- Entries may be submitted in Thai or English. The name must reflect Thai identity or symbolism

- The name should reflect Thai identity and cultural uniqueness
- Must be creative, memorable, and globally appropriate
- Should convey a sense of modernity, friendliness, and align with Thailand’s image
- Must not infringe on any copyright or duplicate existing names
- Must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or misleading meanings
- In case of duplicate name submissions, priority will be given to the earliest entry
4. Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity
- Relevance to Thailand’s identity and branding
- Clarity of concept and story
- Memorability and appeal
The judges’ decision is final
5. Submission Period
- Entries are open until 10 May 2026, 11:59 PM (ICT – Indochina Time)
- Winners will be announced on 25 May 2026
6. Prizes
- Grand Prize (1 Winner): Sawasdee Thailand Mascot Doll
- 4 Runner-up Prizes: Elephant-Themed Notebooks
7. Terms & Conditions
- All entries must be original and created by the participant
- The organizer reserves the right to modify the winning name for appropriateness
- All intellectual property rights of the winning entry will belong to the organizer
- The organizer reserves the right to change any details of the contest without prior notice
- Winners will be announced via the Sawasdee Thailand website (thailand.go.th) and Facebook: Sawasdee Thailand
- Winners must confirm their prize via email within 30 days from the announcement date, otherwise the prize will be forfeited
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Winners are responsible for any applicable expenses, such as customs duties or import taxes (if any).
- Submitted entries shall become the property of the organizer
- The organizer reserves the right to use, modify, and publish the entries without additional compensation
- Entries may be used across all channels without time limitation
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants in cases of false information, plagiarism, or violation of contest rules
- The organizer reserves the right not to award a prize if no entry meets the required criteria
