Nene Royal to Rock the 2026 IMF-World Bank Welcome Reception

Thailand is turning to its newest global star to make a lasting impression on the world's financial leaders.

The Thai government has invited 16-year-old rock prodigy Nene Royal, fresh off her historic America's Got Talent triumph, to perform at Government House. She will headline the welcome reception for the IMF and World Bank Group Annual Meetings, hosting an audience of more than 400 central bankers and global financial leaders.

The highlight of the evening will be Nene's high-energy rock performance, serving as the centerpiece of a cultural showcase that combines economic diplomacy with world-class local talent and leaves a lasting impression on global delegates.

The gala takes place later this month. And Nene will blend modern rock with traditional heritage to showcase Thailand's vibrant culture to the world.
