Royal Tribute Offering Ceremony and Candle-Lighting Ceremony in Celebration of His Majesty the King's Birthday

The Presidents of the National Assembly, Supreme Court, and Senate, as well as Cabinet members, military commanders, senior police officers, civil servants, and representatives of the private sector gathered at Sanam Luang ceremonial site on 28 July 2026 at 07.30 hr in an oath-taking ceremony to pledge themselves as good workers of the land, a united force of the nation. 

The event was presided over by the Prime Minister, who expressed his gratitude for His Majesty’s dedication to the nation's prosperity and the well-being of the Thai people.

The oath-taking ceremony on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday is organized each year by the Office of the Civil Service Commission, which also encourages state agencies nationwide to hold similar ceremonies at their offices to show their loyalty to His Majesty the King.
