Seven Eastern Line Trains Resume as Flooding Eases

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is restoring seven Eastern Line services on September 30 and October 1 as flood conditions ease. Trains will operate on shortened routes between Bangkok and Prachin Buri while railway conditions farther along the line continue to be assessed.

On September 30, five services will return. Trains No. 281, 279 and 277 from Bangkok will terminate at Prachin Buri instead of continuing to Kabin Buri or Ban Khlong Luek Border. Trains No. 282 and 278 will depart from Prachin Buri for Bangkok instead of starting at Kabin Buri.

On October 1, two services will operate from Prachin Buri to Bangkok. Train No. 278 will start at Prachin Buri instead of Kabin Buri, while Train No. 280 will begin there instead of Ban Khlong Luek Border.

Passengers are advised to check the latest service information before traveling, as further adjustments may be made depending on track conditions. The SRT will continue monitoring the Eastern Line, with additional information available through its 24-hour Customer Service Center at 1690.
