Thailand is strengthening its position as an international medical, health, and beauty hub as the Ministry of Public Health prepares to host the Thailand Medical & Wellness Expo 2026 in May. The
event will showcase Thailand’s medical expertise and distinctive health identity while promoting the “T-Beauty” concept to support the country’s wellness economy and integrated wellness tourism.
Mr. Pattana Prompatt (นายพัฒนา พร้อมพัฒน์), Minister of Public Health, announced that the expo will be organised in collaboration with public and private sector partners to position Thailand as a
Wellness and Medical Service Hub. He noted Thailand’s strong international reputation for quality medical services, skilled healthcare professionals, and competitive costs, alongside unique assets
such as traditional Thai medicine, Thai massage, spa services, and herbal products.
The expo will serve as a key platform linking policy, innovation, and practical application across preventive medicine, aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine, and holistic healthcare. It will also support the development of “T-Beauty” as a Thai wellness and beauty brand with global potential.
The Ministry of Public Health emphasised that the event reflects Thailand’s strategic efforts to enhance competitiveness, expand international health markets, and reinforce the country’s role as a
leading or medical and wellness services in a sustainable manner.
